Sam grew up watching airliners flying above his house only to find out that he loves general aviation and the even smaller world of aerobatics. He began his career by earning his associates degree in aviation and then followed it up with flight instructing back home in Rochester. Acquiring his CFI and CFII made him realize  his passion for teaching in and around airplanes, especially when it has a focus on aviation safety. After spending time as a Flight Instructor, he went to a regional carrier to now flying as a Captain for a luxury high speed aluminum tubing company. Now with his career sorted he enjoys flying with his pilot wife in their Cessna. Additionally he enjoys tailwheel adventures especially when inverted!
